Taking Screenshots - Guild Wars Forums

I was just wandering...

When i look at some of the screenshots the health and party bars and the skill box don't shot up... how come it dosn't? When i take screenshots they show up and it ruins the picture

Hope someone can help, thanks!

Use shift+printscreen to get rid of the UI in the screenshot, or press ctrl+shift+h to hide the UI while playing.

i have the opposite problem. at some point i must have done something to make the UI automatically disappear when taking screenshots. but when i actually want to have pics of the UI, i can't get them. does anyone know how to turn that feature off?

just a note: the only thing i do is hit PrtScn. and the UI is visible before i hit the key. the UI disappears briefly and the screen freezes for the screenshot and then the UI returns.

Yeah, it actually defaults to that setting Wongba.

What you have to do, if you want the HUD to be visible in the screenshot, is hit printscreen, then open up a program like paint, coreldraw or photoshop, and just CTRL+V it. It will capture the exact screen.

If you're going into your 'screenshots folder' though, it saves them without the HUD... just like in City of Heroes.
